The first Moscow International Wine Expo, MIWE, took place in Moscow on October 27-28, 2011. Lotte Hotel Moscow hospitably housed this exhibition, which was organized under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The manifold social program, which preceded the work of the exhibition, the wide business program and participation of wine experts known all over the world made MIWE a milestone event in the wine sector. Within a framework of the exhibition Russian community welcomed the presentation of the EU programme Wine in Moderation, advocating moderate wine consumption and reasonable wine promotion.
